In the 1980s, driven by the visionary CEO Albano Cymbron, we intensified the activity of the Incoming department at the Azores destination. We quickly became Pioneers in nature experiences, offering Hiking Programs on all the islands and Biking Programs on the island of São Miguel. Over the years we have evolved and expanded our business and the current CEO, Catarina Cymbron, leads the company daily in an active and passionate way, and with the same spirit of innovation and sustainability.
Melo Travel DMC is headquartered in Ponta Delgada, São Miguel island, and is represented on all the Azores islands. Since it was founded in 1971, it has always had representatives on all the Azores islands, as this method proves to be the most effective in providing guidance and assistance to our customers on each of the 9 islands. We ensure that our clients will always feel accompanied during their holidays in the Azores.
As a way to improve our responsiveness and increase our efficiency for our Local Customers, Online Travelers and Industry Customers such as Tour Operators, Travel Agencies and Companies in general, we segment our company into five business areas.
